SUMMARY OF KNOWN DETAILS
she's three stars. shijima's basically just going to be wandering around according to whimsy and mood, and cr (or anyone who cares to get cr with her) are welcome to join her at random times. she's likely to take jobs wherever she goes if she's bored enough or needs something being offered (or just wants it) and will sort of kill whatever gets in her way be it hapless citizens who need taking care of or monsters... basically lazy asshole murdery cat lady road trips at random and circles back to mair whenever she gets bored of that to sleep on a windowsill or in her room at the ranch. she's totally not above getting herself taken in as a housecat by random households just so her needs are taken care of when she's feeling particularly lazy.

SPRING IN 2,701 (Mar, Apr, May)

MARCH - Spends most of her time bitching about the king of birds, tbh. WHY DO BIRDS NEED KINGS, SHE STILL DOESN'T GET IT. Birds are dumb, txt it.
APRIL - Smashes the harp to utter smithereens, bitches about that, too.
MAY - Kills a golden swan out of boredom. ...That turns out to get a figurine, so she kills a bunch more for fun more than profit. Old cat ladies need to take their amusement where they can get it, ok. Teams up with Hiro, lets him keep most of them but keeps some for herself.

SUMMER IN 2,701 (Jun, Jul, Aug)

JUNE - Tourney.
JULY - Leave on roadtrip with Eren.
AUGUST - Forest golem run-in with Eren.
AUGUST - Leathann's Festival of Lights pitstop on road-trip

SEPT - bitches about the language thing tbh; Shijima speaks Japanese and animal fluently, English less fluently. eren why r u germanic you shit!!! also barrel 2.0 shenanigans

OCT - Samhain stuff, end of road trip with Eren.
NOV - Go kill some escaped inmates with Effy, Shijima doesn't particularly care if they're dangerous or not. what do you mean you can return them alive. Allows Effy to keep most of the reward.

WINTER IN 2,701/2,702 (Dec, Jan, Feb)

DEC - Give out truly ridiculous gifts for yule to her closest cr...shijima's complete lack of fucks towards money means she usually doesn't like to have any on her, so she will just give them random found objects or like a dead bird (for eren) the lucky winners are probably like...berserker, lucifer, lumina, probably damon. and eren. and anyone else who works out cr with her enough for her to tolerate them before yule. sorry for her.
JAN - Wander over to Caer Scima to check it out, wander away again

[ Oh no, it's a hug, what the hell does she do with a hug. There's an annoyed sound, but at least Shijima doesn't push the taller girl off of her, simply going with awkwardly patting Lumina on the back and hoping the hugging thing ends soon...

She's always been slightly more comfortable with contact like this in her natural form rather than the human one, but even then Shijima's a little antsy about it. ]

It's pink. [ Ob...viously. ] So I thought it would work.

[ Now they can never speak of it again... ]

[Well Lumina does like pink. And apparently hugging since...it keeps going. It keeps going! Eventually though she bounces back a step, grinning wildly, with the necklace danging from her left hand.]

[And with a swirl of chaos and light, she vanished! Which Shijima was probably used to by now.]

[It was maybe three minutes before she reappeared, with the necklace now around her neck. She had a small, brightly wrapped package in her hands, and she held it out to Shijima with a big grin.]

Here! This is for you.

[Apparently they'd had a similar thought, because inside the box is a necklace! Gasp!]

[ Oh thank goodness IT CAME TO AN END. Shijima was starting to get fidgety in the way cats do when held a bit too long. Still, she does stay still when Lumina disappears, though she yawns a little. As though it isn't important to her if she stays put... ]

What? [ She hadn't expected a gift, somehow. Last year - had it been a year already? - Jack Frost had made her mice from ice, but she'd had little to mark the holiday otherwise. Hesitantly, she opens the box. ] Oh.

[ A cat. She's never had a necklace that wasn't her collar before, and Shijima is not quite certain what to think. ]

You got this for me?

Yup. [Lumina had been so excited when she'd seen it at the station, but Shijima's reaction suddenly has her nervous. Her hands fold behind her back to hide a bit of hand-clasping.]

I figured, this way, even when you...you know, aren't a cat you can still...kind of have one around?

[Did that make sense? She hoped it made sense.]

[ It makes sense. It's more thought than anyone has put into a gift for her before, and so Shijima is not sure what to...do. Although she has observed enough Christmases she can at least guesstimate. ]

...Thank you. [ That's what you say when someone gets you something, right? ]

Though I am always a cat. I just occasionally look different. [ But no, she will put it on... ]

[Lumina was never going to really get that. So she just shrugged it off. Shijima was a girl to her, after all!]

Yup! You like it then? It's okay?

I do like it. [ She isn't one for jewelry much, aside from the necklace-collar she'd gotten from Miharu's family and the network-collar from Hiro, but... ] I will keep it with me.

[ She'd arrived in December, a year ago. She'd met Lumina back then. It seems suddenly a long time, although it's hard anything at all to someone her age. ]

[They both probably had strange ideas of time, really. Though Lumina was adapting to time actually passing here pretty easily. Or maybe she was just fortunate that she was used to people 'aging slowly.']

Good! So, uh. Yeah. Happy Yule.

[Lumina almost seemed a little awkward.]

The people I used to live with would give me cat toys around this holiday, sometimes.
